“I am constantly discussing the visual aesthetics of art in my studio classes. Almost everything I’ve created is for the purpose of looking good. However, I recently began to wonder about the relationship between the visually impaired and art, a field that is so focused on sight. This led me to research how art can be experienced through the other four senses.”

Sheridan is the Carolina Union Activities Board Art Committee Chairperson as well as a Kappa Pi Member and a designer for COUTUREvolution, UNC’s first sustainable fashion show.
