FAVORITE CLASS AT CAROLINA: "Sociology 22, Race Relations with Anne Hastings. Dr. Hastings is so passionate about the course content; it is inspiring and motivating. Taking this course opened my eyes and taught me about many of the struggles that different ethnic groups have faced and continue to face in the United States."

CAROLINA BECAUSE: "Carolina offers the entire package! A university with the highest academic prestige, but with a strong student representation, active through student government and the more then 600 recognized student organizations. At Carolina, I've been able to find my passion both academically and socially."

FAVORITE CAROLINA EXPERIENCE : "Being able to study abroad in India
through UNC has been the highlight of my educational experience. Being able to travel really challenged me on many levels, personally, academically, and socially. I learned so much about myself, but most importantly about another culture. Being able to go out into the community which you study is so important. You have to be able to
connect to people on a personal level and studying abroad definitely did this for me! I highly recommend studying abroad, it is a unique experience."
