FAVORITE CAROLINA CLASS: "Honestly, I’ve
taken so many fantastic courses here at UNC I think it’s difficult
to select any one as my favorite. Although, if I could retake any class,
I would definitely choose American Studies 94: The Role of the University
in American Society. It was such a great class, I’m in talks
with the professor to become a TA for it my senior year."
CAROLINA
BECAUSE: "At the end of my junior year in high school, I
was invited to participate in Project Uplift, which exposed me to
the campus of UNC. Before I knew what had happened, I had fallen
in love with Carolina. It wasn’t just the beautiful campus,
or the amazing basketball games, or the incredible people that I
met, but everything about UNC as a whole that really made it the
perfect university for me. I’ve always known that I was a 'Tar
Heel born and bred,' but it wasn’t until I entered Carolina
that I really understood what those words meant."
