My Background

Winston Churchill once said, "We are all worms, but I do believe that I am a glow worm." I couldn't have said it any better. My background isn't too unique, per se, I moved a lot up until my teenage years, and am from Charlotte, NC. I didn't stand out too much from my high school, but I enjoyed it enough. I was a simple person, just trying to get by.

When I came to Carolina, I began to glow. I found my passion in my majors, English and Communications, something I'm not quite sure what I will do with yet, but I do plan on attending graduate school. The many organizations I'm involved in (the Emerging Leaders Program, Habitat for Humanity, and the Carolina Service Scholars Program just to name a few) have given me wings to fly here. I love going out with my friends and experiencing Chapel Hill, going to music festivals, and just having a great time.
