Most memorable class
I have had a number of exciting courses during my past few years at UNC.
One of my most memorable classes was a First-Year Seminar on Urban Planning
and Development. Even though this was not a course that I never would have
signed up for, I had heard so many positive things about the First-Year Seminars
that I decided to give it a try.
One of the great things about these
classes is that they are so small and everyone is a First-Year student. Throughout
the course, I learned a lot about Urban Planning, Green Space, and Mixed
Use Space. More importantly, I developed some really great friendships and
had a lot of fun in the course. My professor was really nice too. He treated
the class to ice cream and even invited the entire class over to his home where
he and his wife cooked a full meal for us! First-Year Seminars are great
courses and I suggest that every first-year student take full advantage of
them while here at UNC!
