My Background

I'm interested in community service (particularly with the Hispanic population). I love reading, traveling, and learning about other cultures.

I'm a member of Order of the Bell Tower, was on the University Relations Committee for Dance Marathon last year; I volunteer at Carrboro Elementary school, and I'm a member of Kappa Delta sorority.

I spent this past summer working at a domestic abuse shelter in Argentina. In the past, I was a service intern at Immigrant and Refugee Services (of Catholic Charities) in New Orleans as part of the Robertson Scholars Program. I was working with a Refugee Resettlement and teaching English literacy classes.
