A typical day in my life
I usually start the day by waking up around 7:00. I like having morning
classes, so they’ll usually start around 9:00 or 9:30, depending on
what day it is. In the morning, it’s important for me to be able to
check and answer email, something that never stops, because I never know when
a class will be cancelled or a meeting will come up. I take my shower, get
ready and organized for the day, and it’s off to class.
Depending on
the day and my class schedule, I’m usually finished with class by three
at the latest, and then the fun begins. After class, I normally jump pretty
quickly into meetings and homework.
On any given night, it’s not unlikely
for me to have three or four meetings, then two or three hours of homework
and/or studying to do. After all of my meetings are over, I’ll head
back to my room, finish homework, get ready for the next day, then relax – it’s
so important to relax in some way, whether it’s napping, watching
tv, reading, hanging out with friends, or being on the addictive computer.
On school nights, I’m usually in bed by 1:00 am– I
need sleep in order to function the next day. I wake up, and it starts
all over again.
